Every student at House of Emet tutoring journey with an assessment which pinpoints what they know and what they need to learn
Step 2: Receive a Personalized Learning Plan
We’ll review the assessment results and create a learning plan tailored to your child. Each learning plan takes your child step-by-step from where they are to where they need to go
Step 3: Begin Tutoring
Your child will join a small group and begin receiving explicit, systematic instruction in a calm, encouraging environment designed to help learning make sense.

The first step is a free assessment so we can better understand your child's strengths and identify any learning gap

Your child will complete an age-appropriate reading or math assessment while we observe how they approach learning. The assessment helps us identify their current skill level, pinpoint areas of unfinished learning, and determine whether our tutoring program is the right fit.

Students are grouped based on their skill level and instructional needs rather than simply their age or grade level. Keeping groups small allows us to provide more individualized instruction while ensuring students are learning alongside peers working on similar skills.

Students attend two 75-minute sessions each week during a 9-week instructional cycle. This consistent schedule gives students the repetition and practice needed to build lasting skills and confidence.

Yes! House of Emet is an approved Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) tutoring provider. Eligible families may use TEFA funds for approved tutoring services through the Odyssey Marketplace.

Absolutely. We welcome students from public schools, private schools, charter schools, and homeschool families. Our tutoring program is designed to complement your child's current educational setting.
