  • Think of a micro-school like a modern one-room schoolhouse. A small, tight-knit group of students learning in a calm, structured environment led by a trusted teacher

At House of Emet, we serve students ages 7-11 with no more than eight students, and our days filled with focused academics, faith-filled conversations, and real-world learning—all without the overwhelm of a traditional classroom

  • Yes, we’ll be able to accept TEFA funds for the 2026-2027 School year

  • We combine the structure of traditional school week with the intimacy of small group instruction—all rooted in biblical truth. Our students don’t just memorize—they grow in confidence, learn how to think, and no one gets left behind.

  • We currently serve students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Children are grouped by ability—not just age—so that instruction is personalized and no one gets left behind or held back

  • Monday-Thursday 8:00-2:30 PM

  • We cap our class at 10 students total, with an even smaller group of part-time learners. This allows us to offer meaningful attention, build strong relationships, and make sure every child is seen, heard, and supported

  • Yes. Whether your child needs to rebuild foundational skills or they’re ready to be challenged, our approach adapts to their level. Every child experiences what we call academic restoration-moving from frustration to fruitfulness

  • House of Emet does not use a boxed curriculum.

We use STEAM-based learning to drive instruction and hands-on projects, while aligning all academics to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) to ensure students stay on pace with their grade-level peers.

To support skill development, we use:

    • IXL for personalized math and reading practice

    • Heggerty for foundational literacy and phonemic awareness

    • Novel Studies to build strong readers, thinkers, and writers

This approach allows us to meet state standards without sacrificing curiosity, creativity, or deep understanding.

  • House of Emet is designed to support consistency and growth, so we do ask families to commit to at least one semester (5 months).

After the initial 5-month commitment, families may withdraw with a 30-day written notice.

This structure allows students time to truly settle in, build confidence, and experience meaningful academic growth—while still offering families flexibility if their needs change.

  • It starts with our Family Alignment Application. This helps us make sure House of Emet is truly the right fit for your child and your family.
From there, we invite your child to join us for a 2-day Emet Experience, where they get to learn alongside our students and we get to know them in real time.
After that, if it’s a mutual fit, we’ll extend a formal enrollment invitation and walk you through next steps.
